this is a water baby (similar to a gel orb) which was sprinkled with very thin & sparkly glass shards resting on s mirror by which you can see it's reflection in triplicate.

i also used a 6500k florescent light which is important to capture color accurately, and a black cloth in the background to showcase this little orb to itself.

kenko extension tubes, full set

so - who needs a macro lens with that, huh.
as long as you aren't trying to photograph air molecules you should be fine....................
